On February 22nd – Edward Gorey’s 100th birthday – from 5:30 – 8:30, the House will be observing an evening of festivities at the Ballroom of the Mansion at Ocean Edge. A catered dinner, accompanied by Gorey cocktails and Birthday Treats, is to be followed by a silent auction and other mysterious festivities.
$100/person; $80/Member. Tickets include passed hors d’oeuvres, a pasta station, a Gorey cocktail, a birthday toast, cake, and coffee. All attendees receive the brand-new Edward Gorey Centennial pin, some blathering by the House’s Director, and a general sense of unease.
